AS A BUYER WHAT DO FLAMBORO SHOWS OFFER ME?

Flamboro Antique Shows offer buyers what is arguably the best antique shopping experience in Ontario.  Because we offer dealers lots of space for a very modest rent in comparison with exclusively indoor shows, dealers can bring much more stock.  With over 100 dealers at all shows, the buying public gets to see a tremendous variety of goods. It takes hours to see everything.  At every show there is furniture from the 1800’s to the 1950’s, as well as glass, china, jewellery, toys, books, advertising, lighting, tools, primitives, kitchenware, tins, nostalgia, collectibles, stoneware, prints, bottles, frames, art pottery, cutlery, sterling, silver plate, and much, much, more.

Since booth rents are low and we offer a number of shows, many antique dealers have closed their shops and rely on shows alone to market their goods.  This is their once-a-month payday, and they are very motivated to sell.  The antique buyer benefits from two factors: each location features different dealers, and the month or so between shows allows dealers to restock, so the buyer does not see the same stuff over and over.

We have tremendous variety at good prices, so what else?

One new feature, the addition of indoor booths to our original all-outdoor shows, has attracted more specialized dealers in jewellery, fine art, prints, books and other fragile goods, guaranteeing the fun and excitement of an outdoor show, with the quality of an indoor one.

For the antique treasure hunter, we allow field access at the same time as the dealers are arriving and unpacking at dawn on Saturdays. Many a sharp-eyed customer has gotten great bargains or a rare piece for a collection just as the sun comes up.  Dealers from Toronto are always in the early-morning crowd so that they can buy for resale in their trendy shops.  This is the chance for the treasure hunter to compete evenly with the professionals.  Are you up for the challenge?  We’ll see you bright and early, then.

For the family or couple just out for a leisurely stroll among antiques on a sunny Saturday afternoon, we offer free admission after 2pm. We’ve noticed that the bargainers are a little more successful the later in the day it gets, too.

With free parking (with designated handicapped spots), indoor washrooms as well as outdoor portables, an ATM on site, delivery service, and traditional outdoor event food such as home-cut French fries, sausage on a bun, and kettle corn, Flamboro offers a great shopping experience.

Both Brampton and Milton Fairgrounds offer ideal locations off Hwy. 401 with easy access from Toronto and London as well as direct access from Niagara and Hamilton.

Are you ready for your first treasure hunt?
