Dear Flamboro Antique Show dealers:

We at Flamboro would like to thank you for your continued patronage. We want to make you aware of some changes we are making to the show for this year. We feel Flamboro is still a great show, thanks to an excellent core of dealers who have stuck with us through the years. A major problem that has plagued the show for years is weather. We have not had the best luck when it comes to rain, to say the least. While we can't stop the rain, we can move the shows to a location that offers both indoor and outdoor space.

Two shows will be held at the Milton Fairgrounds, July 17th and Oct. 16th. Milton will offer space for about 45 indoor booths, and lots of space for outdoor dealers and on-site parking. You can expect to find a different mix of dealers at both locations bringing fresh finds and treasures at all three shows, RAIN OR SHINE. Milton is within a 30-minute drive from Toronto, Guelph, Hamilton, Oakville, Burlington, Campbellville, Georgetown, Mississauga, and Brampton, some of the fastest growing and wealthiest communities in Ontario.

We will no longer be providing plastic bags for the dealers. There is a growing awareness that plastic bags are not environmentally friendly, and we agree. The money we save from not supplying bags is going to go directly into additional advertising for the show. We have updated our website with new photos, showing some of the great finds that were offered for sale last year (and in our opinion, there were a lot of great finds!)and we will have a section where dealers can send us photos of items they plan to bring to upcoming shows. Hopefully this will bring even more public out to the shows, and help sell these items and more. Dealers who do even one show per year will be able to have a link on our website to their store or personal antique selling site, to help promote their businesses. The antique business has been a little tough the last couple of years, and we'd like to help our dealers in any way we can.
